Seminars

      Illinois Prairie Painters offers seminars approximately three times a year. Nationally known teachers are invited to share their techniques and expertise. All seminars are held from 9am to 5pm with a one hour lunch break at midday. Fee for seminars are minimal and sometimes surfaces can be self supplied. The mediums taught are varied to encompass all talents. Most seminars are geared toward the intermediate painter though most teachers are willing to accommodate new painters.

      We encourage members to attend as many of these as possible so that they may grow and gain confidence in their painting abilities. If you have ever thought of trying a new medium, seminars are a good way to do so.
