Membership
Membership to Illinois Prairie Painters is $20.00 annually, due in October each year. Annual membership entitles you to receive six informative newsletters, the local membership directory, and the right to participate in the meetings, programs, and education activities planned by the chapter, as well as the opportunity to meet other painters from all over the area. You must be a member of the Society of Decorative Painters to be eligible for membership in local chapters.
The Society of Decorative Painters is a membership organization with approximately 23,000 members throughout the United States and nearly fifty other countries. It has more than three hundred affiliated chapters that actively promote the art form through community service projects and other painting-related activities. SDP publishes the industry's leading decorative painting magazine. The Decorative Painter, and hosts the world's largest annual decorative painting show.
